Cantonese extra learning resources
We’ve gathered a list of websites that offer Chinese word cards, Jyutping books, Chinese storybooks, and apps, so you can have more options to use Cantonese with your child after class.
We suggest trying only one or two activities each week until your child gets really familiar with them before adding new ones. This helps keep their curiosity and interest, and makes it easier for you to introduce new ways for your child to use Cantonese naturally.
We understand it’s not easy to get children to speak more Cantonese. The key is really about how much time we spend speaking with them and gently guiding them. The easiest way is through fun and varied activities that encourage them to listen to and speak more Cantonese.
