  • This parent checklist clarifies what we expect children to gradually achieve within the programme; goals are not all achieved in a single term but across roughly 1–2 years, and progress depends on how much Cantonese is used outside class and the frequency of exposure. 這份家長自評表用來幫助大家了解,在同一課程下,我們期望孩子能逐步達成的學習目標,這些目標通常不會在一個學期內全部完成,而是涵蓋約 1–2 年學習歷程,進度會因孩子在課外接觸廣東話的時間頻率而有所不同。
  • Age is only a reference; assessment is mainly based on the child's Cantonese ability. Parents can also refer to the previous or next stage's goals; if some targets are not yet met, focus practice, activities, and input on those areas. When parents notice their child can complete most goals at the current stage, this is typically a sign that moving up may be considered. 歲數只是作參考,主要由小朋友的廣東話能力評估。家長可同時參考上/下一階段的學習目標;如發現孩子在個別目標上仍需加強,可針對該方面安排更多練習活動。當家長留意到孩子已能完成大部分當前階段的目標,這通常是可考慮升班的提示。
  • Parent‑led ratings are often more accurate than teacher‑only views, since daily observation outside class offers a fuller picture. 家長自行評估會較為準確,因為日常相處時間遠多於課堂,觀察能更全面和具參考性。
