Germination Book

To help you and your children make the most of the book, we will be offering instructional videos for each exercise so your children can easily follow along at home. Simply scan the QR code on the content page to access a total of eight videos. Here are the example videos:

Our exercise books are designed to:

• Help students learn vocabulary and sentences in a fun and engaging way
• Encourage character recognition by using removable pictures so that children can match the Chinese character in the correct place
• Allow for repetition and creative thinking because your children can mix and use different vocabulary for the same exercises

In addition, the exercise books are:

• Wipe-cleanable
• Written in traditional Chinese with Cantonese phonics (Jyutping) and English translations included
• A reward chart to encourage your children to practise more

It covers 24 vocabulary and 16 sentence structures in 8 units, accompanied by 8 instruction videos. It has 40 pages in total, including the cover, reward chart and content page. The topic for this book is vegetables and fruits. The price is £32 per book. For in-person Germination classes, we will use this book for 2 terms, learning about 4 units a term.
